About the event
Are you interested in creating cyanotypes? Do you need help knowing how to get started? Then this class is for you!
Resident artist Holly Romano will explain and demonstrate how to artistically explore with cyanotype, a form of cameraless photography known for its iconic blue colors. Invented in 1877, this historical method was used to capture some of the first images ever created as a way to document plants. Today, it's still used by artists as a form of creative expression.
In this class, you will learn the basics of creating cyanotypes as well as have the opportunity to create your own! All materials are included in the cost. No previous creative experience is required. Ages 18 and up are welcome.
